I'm a curious, systems-minded senior backend engineer. I turn messy goals—learning system design, speaking French, and shipping reliable AI—into feedback loops people can actually use.
Backend engineering is my foundation, so I don't think of AI products as chat boxes. I build workflows with state, permissions, evaluation, failure paths, observability, and user trust.
This site is my public working notebook. I write about AI development, backend systems, and the product judgment required to move from “it seems to work” to “it is worth shipping.”
What I'm building
🎙️ SpeakUp SD
Voice-first system design practice with whiteboard evidence and actionable feedback.
🇨🇦 TCF Canada
An AI French-speaking coach for Canadian immigration exam preparation.
🧭 AI Workflow
Practical, repeatable agent workflows for engineering teams—from specification to verification and review.
The question behind my work
How do we build AI products that help people improve at hard things, instead of just generating more text?
My engineering foundation
Before building AI products, I worked on real-time communication, IoT device platforms, multi-tenant workflows, APIs, observability, and infrastructure reliability. That experience taught me to look for state, boundaries, and failure modes before asking how smart the model is.
